The Dodge Durango: Reject Boredom

There’s no better example that pure American muscle than Dodge. Dodge models are fierce, powerful, sleek, and reliable. While the Charger and Challenger ae known for their famous speed and abilities, the Durango is equally as powerful — except it includes accommodation for the whole family!

The Durango includes up to 84.5 cubic feet of cargo space, which is much needed for any vacation, road trip, soccer practice, or daily commute. It has innovative technological features to make the ride itself as entertaining and comfortable as possible, like Uconnect 8.4 NAV with GPS Navigation, SiriusXM, available Blu-Ray Entertainment System, and more. The available memory system presents a unique perk: It can remember the driving settings for two different drivers! This is perfect for households with multiple drivers or for company vehicles.

The Durango’s performance is unquestionably one of the most impressive aspects about it. The formidable 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine has the capability to tow up to 6,200 pounds. However, it still manages to get an impressive 25-26 highway MPG fuel efficiency rating, making it a perfectly maneuverable choice for budgets of all sizes. The Durango also has a near 50/50 weight distribution in its rear wheel drive models so that the traction is significantly better when accelerating. It also features electro-hydraulic steering, electronic stability control, and steel quick shock and spring breaks.

We’re proud to have a large inventory of this sensational model at our dealership. Browse them online or stop by to take in their glory for yourself!

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid: A Minivan That Pays for Itself

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid: A Minivan That Pays for Itself

It’s no secret automakers are doing everything they can to push hybrid technology forward. It seems like every make and model of vehicles on the road today are available with some sort of hybrid feature. Well, every model except minivans, that is. Chrysler set out to change that with the 2017 Pacifica. It seems, though, that instead of initially producing minivans with basic hybrid technology, they created a new standard.

"Due to its large footprint and multiple daily trip patterns, the minivan is ideally suited for electrification technology," said Bob Lee, Vice President and Head of Engine, Powertrain and Electrified Propulsion Systems Engineering, FCA – North America. "The all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica lives up to this promise and then some, with efficiency, power and refinement.”

To say the 2017 Pacifica Hybrid is efficient is a severe understatement. Chrysler not only claims the minivan gets an equivalent of 80 mpg (yes you read that right), but is also saying a plug-in feature allows drivers going on trips under 30 miles will use absolutely no gas.

With a 30-mile range, Pacifica’s battery receives its charge not only from being plugged in, but also from an energy created through braking. After the battery dies, a 3.6-liter V8 engine takes over, producing around 250 horsepower and 230 pound-feet of torque. That kind of fuel efficiency is unheard of in minivans, setting the Pacifica Hybrid apart from its competitors. And the gas money saved by the latest hybrid technology makes it an extremely affordable option for families.

Jeep Adds New 2016 Overland to Cherokee Lineup

The Jeep brand has long been synonymous with tough off-road vehicles that always get you where you’re going, even if it’s the middle of nowhere. However, it looks like Jeep wants to show us how luxurious their vehicles can be by introducing the all-new 2016 Jeep Cherokee Overland at the New England Auto Show.

“The new Cherokee Overland model is a direct response to consumers looking for benchmark 4x4 capability that only Jeep can offer, in a stunning, more luxurious package loaded with premium amenities,” said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA Global. “Cherokee sales increased 23 percent in 2015, and we expect the new Overland model will attract even more consumers into our Jeep showrooms going forward.”

Overland’s exterior includes a new front grill design, wheel flares, body-color door cladding and an “Overland” badge on the left gate. The exterior combined with an enhanced interior take the all-new Overland to new levels of comfort and class.

Jeep’s elegant Overland interior comes with a slew of premium features, including ventilated front seats, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, Uconnect Access Advantage and standard memory drivers seat, radio and exterior mirrors.

While the new Overland is absolutely packed with all the latest technology, its designers held true to the toughness Jeep owners have become accustomed to. Each model will include a Jeep Active Drive II 4x4 system, which improves performance, traction and fuel economy.
